Any one who is against Social Media is OLD!!!!!

Narrow minded  MINDS result TO uninformed society, shallow minded minds result to poor informed society...and the blame goes to Senior Journalists in Tanzania who have contributed to kill journalism because they never accept new ideas from upcoming young journalists! not all but most of them do that!

Kwa muda mrefu waandishi wamekuwa wakilalalamikiwa kuwa sometimes they mislead the maa, the publica, but sometimes they give them the real content thy deserve.

Ila kwa leo ni kheri tukawaambia ukweli waandishi wakongwe kuwa hawapokei mawazo mapya kirahisi na ndio maana media haipo katika nafasi ya kama zilivyp media za Kenya na nchi nyingine.

Vijana wapya, waandishi wapya si tu wasomi waliosoma modern journalism, ila hata bila elimu ya kutosha wanaweza kuchangia mambo mapya ambayo wamekuwa wakiona media inakosea ama kwa uchunguzi wao mdogo.

It is a fact known to most of us that even a stone can be significant at the time it is needed, I personally agree that young journalists sometimes they may be seen as stones to senior media experts, but it does not mean that they have no new ideas to help the media industry.

In some scenarios these people who have been in the media industry for so long, have became old dogs who can not be taught new techniques, just because they force youngsters to follow their ways, they don't want to teach them and share ideas.

Media can never be run by seniors only, it is a combination of new plus old, that is when we get modern journalism.

If you are keen of evaluating public debates, some fathers and mama;s are against Facebook and Twitter, in short they do not support social media, they believe that social media have come to make youths stupid, they are not aware of what is in those media.

Kwa mfano lets talk of Facebook which is used by more than six million users,na hiyo ni kwa tafiti za mwaka jana, i think watakuwa wamekuwa hata zaidi ya milioni kumi kwa sasa maana daily new users are registering.

With that fact of life, social media have provided a platform for various social, economic and political debate...so anyone who is against those new media is old whether at 20's or 80's...not old by the outlook, but old in the mind, old in the ideas and old in his or her life style.
